SMS Consent and Opt-In Proof
This page describes how customers and authorized users consent to receive SMS messages from Optimus.
SMS Program
Optimus Technology Inc. sends customer care and service-related SMS messages for Optimus customers and authorized users. Messages may include account onboarding, account notifications, customer support responses, shipment and operational updates, product or service updates, and requested responses from the Optimus assistant, Jared.
Opt-In Workflow
- A customer or authorized user enters their mobile phone number during Optimus signup, onboarding, account setup, or an Optimus order form.
- The SMS consent checkbox is unchecked by default and must be selected by the user before recurring SMS messages are enabled.
- The consent language appears next to the phone number field and includes the Optimus program name, message types, frequency, message and data rates disclosure, HELP instructions, STOP instructions, and links to the Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.
- Optimus records the consent source, timestamp, mobile number, account or user ID, and disclosure version.

The SMS checkbox is unchecked by default and must be selected by the user before recurring SMS messages are enabled.
Inbound SMS Opt-In
Existing customers and authorized users may also opt in by texting START to the Optimus SMS number. Optimus sends this confirmation message:
